BiblioQuilombola: um projeto em construção
Abstract
The population that lives in quilombola’s communities faces, in their daily lives, different situations that require literacy for the use of information and this is a great challenge. This is due to the fact that they have an incipient information infrastructure and do not were encouraged to develop information literacy. That said, the objective of the article is to present the first actions of the BiblioQuilombola project, which are being carried out in the Ilha de Maré. The report describes the planning of the application of the storytelling method to promote information literacy, among children of the fourth year of the primary School of that community. The first inferences of this action of BiblioQuilombola project lead us to the understanding that the storytelling method stimulates the promotion and use of information literacy among children aged 8 to 11 years old.
