Authors

Abstract

The dissemination of photography has become a constant concern, since its effects can be harmful to different spheres of society. Thus, it became necessary to map the theme Photography in the scientific literature indexed in the Brapci database to better understand this phenomenon and its causes and / or motivations. 310 articles were retrieved and the main themes, sources of information and areas related to the theme were analyzed. There was a notable growth in scientific production related to photography between the years 2011 and 2020, mainly due to the digital network and virtual social networks. Photography in an expressive way concludes, generating some reflections on the very status of the medium, through a process of rupture and transition in the photographic nature itself.
