Representação temática do cordel de circunstância à luz da verossimilhança

Abstract

The present research approaches the Cordel Literature of Circumstance, in which the similarity between real facts with the verses in the Cordels is verified. Based on this perspective, the guiding proposal of this research aims to expand the study regarding the thematic representation of information, especially when it relates to the indexing of the Cordel booklet referring to the facts of circumstance, through the Verisimilitude analysis. The objective of this research is to analyze the Cordel Booklet of Circumstance’ themes of the Cordelteca Leandro Gomes de Barros of the Casa de José Américo Foundation in the light of verisimilitude. The applied methodology consists of a documental and bibliographic research, with a qualitative approach and a documental corpus with twenty-seven Cordel of Circumstance Booklets, which will be selected according to the thematic classes proposed by Albuquerque (2011). The theoretical-methodological framework to assist the data analysis will be the Discourse Semantics to conceptualize the indexed themes and the verisimilitude to carry out the credible analysis of the Cordéis of circumstance with the selected newspapers from the Hemeroteca of the National Library. Subsequently, the data will be organized in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to control the selected circumstance leaflets, then systematized in tables to better present them. The expected result will prove, through the thematic representation, if the facts of circumstances reported in Cordel booklets are real or credible, since Cordel literature is considered a historical document, source of information and communication.
