Reflections on the political character of the organizational phenomenon based on the case analysis of the resistance of the 100% public ponta do coral movement

The reactivation of the link between organizational phenomenon and hegemonic political projects constituted the guiding thread of the research carried out. In it, we sought to demonstrate that the significant expansion of the organizational phenomenon requires the analytical effort to reactivate the ontological link between the organizational phenomenon and hegemonic political projects, since the significance of this phenomenon arises from its political nature. Going through this itinerary from the theoretical lens of the Political Theory of Discourse (TPD), the analytical object of the research was the study of the resistance initiated by the Ponta do Coral 100% Public Movement, which, contrary to the interests expressed by the dominant real estate capital of the city of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, defends the collective appropriation of an area in the central region of the city - the group formed by Pontas do Coral, Lessa and Goulart -, aiming at the creation of a green area of leisure, as opposed to the attempt to exploit that portion of land as hotels. Through direct observation, interviews and document analysis it can be seen that the analyzed social movement, being both a significant element and a meaning of the social totality in which it is inserted, its understanding cannot be disconnected from the precarious and contingent clash between hegemonic projects due to the significance of the social.
