Abstract

Gillette has always been distinguished by its leadership position within the shaving industry. The company’s success trajectory was often signed by technological innovations and this case – which takes place (with little zooms on the Brazilian market) on USA and Europe, where the strategic decisions are made and developed by the corporation – let the reader know and discuss how Gillette manages these innovations. In order to do that, it travels to the past (when concerns about the company profitability began), showing the corporation’s innovations report, highlighting the latest two: Sensor and Mach3; and suggests a travel to the time the president is concerned about: the future.
