Perspectivas seculares y religiosas en la prensa de mujeres en Irán

Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar cómo las nociones de modernidad y secularidad influyeron en el movimiento de mujeres en Irán antes y después de la Revolución de 1979, considerando las discusiones sobre libertad sexual e igualdad de género en la prensa femenina. Las revistas seleccionadas fueron Dānish (Conocimiento) y Zan-e Ruz (Mujeres de Hoy), Payam-e Zan (Mensaje de las Mujeres), Payam-e Hajar (Mensaje de Agar) y Zanan (Mujeres), publicadas entre principios del siglo XX y principios del siglo XXI. Al final, propongo una discusión sobre cómo la relación entre secularidad y religiosidad no representa una oposición, sino que son elementos que se constituyen mutuamente en el activismo local.
