Baumgarten e o problema da beleza: Aisthesis, educação estética, inspiração

Neste ensaio pretendo brevemente apresentar o projeto estético de Alexander Gottlieb Baumgarten. Em primeiro lugar, observo o modo como a estética de Baumgarten foi recebida na historiografia estética clássica e na mais recente. Em seguida, exploro o problema da beleza na maneira como foi discutida em suas três obras principais que tratam do assunto: Meditações filosóficas sobre a poesia (1735); Metafísica (1739) e Estética (2 volumes, 1750-1758). Em particular, foco na diferença entre a concepção fenomênica de beleza em sua Metafísica e a apresentação do tema na Estética. Ao final do texto, investigo o problema da inspiração estética como a inalação da presença externa ao eu, assim como enfatizo a relação entre estética e a alteridade.
