The authors present a brief literature review about the phenomenological approach in nursing research. This issue is an attempt in phenomenological analysis of the concept of nursing. The answers to the question "what is nursing?", made by 251 nurses, were grouped in categories and compared with HENDERSON'S and HORTA's nursing concepts.Downloads
