Hermeneutics and health: reflections on the thinking of Hans-Georg Gadamer

This article has as its objective the desire to contribute to nursing practice with the use of Gadamer's hermeneutics. It reflects on the incorporation of the conceptual paradigm of health, care and therapeutic dialogue. In the first section the article discusses the Gadamerian concepts of the work Truth and Method, the hermeneutics philosophy proposed by the philosopher, and it concludes with the articulation of the health concept presented in the work The Hidden Character of Health, which proposes care mediated by therapeutic dialogue and its use by nursing professionals.Downloads
