Abstract

The study aimed to know the spread of Aids epidemy among japaneses and their descendents, living on São Paulo Municipaliza. The authors dimensioned the total number of cases, since the beginning of the epidemy till july, 1994 and characterized the profile of the group in terms of sex, age, school degree, civil status, sexual option, occupation, exposed category and mean survival.
