Abstract

This article has the objective to show the use of life oral history as methodological framework for qualitative data collection and analysis, aimed to understand the meaning of hemodialysis and the impact of this therapeutic modality of treatment in the patient's life in the Hemodialysis Unity at the Universitary Hospital at the University of São Paulo.
