The changes in nursing: the representation of nurses as related to institutional mobilizations

Big changes have been happening in the society. In this study, we had as objective to show the nurses' representation aboutthe changes in nursing inserted in an institution context. Eigtheen nurses at a public, school hospital, which is specialized in cardiology were interviewed. Using the analysis of content acoording to Bardin9proposal, we construct a representation'scheme that indicates two periods of time, concrete and desirable time, and in order to adapt in a new time it happens ina pace between limits and catalysers of changes' process, to achieve auto-supported existence as a project to become a new professional.Downloads
