Caos e demonismo em O Diabo Mesquinho, de Fiódor Sologub

Abstract

This articles aims to retlect on the use of literary archetypes in the Fiodor Sologub's novel The Petty Demon, highlighting the insertion of the myth of the creation in the structure of his work. When associating the evilness presented in the work to the original chaos, the novel inserts itself in the particular and powerful tradition of the Russian prose, inaugurating it and breaking it at the same time.
