Estratégias de apoio ao cuidador de pessoas com câncer: revisão integrativa

Objetivo: realizar uma revisão integrativa da literatura acerca de quais estratégias de cuidado e apoio são ofertadas ao cuidador de pessoas com câncer, no âmbito hospitalar, ambulatorial e/ou domiciliar. Método: revisão integrativa da literatura nas bases de dados BDENF, LILACS, MEDLINE, Portal CAPES, PubMed e SciELO, por meio dos descritores “Terapia Familiar”, “Enfermagem Familiar”, “Cuidadores”, “Neoplasias”, “Atenção Integral à Saúde” nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol. Utilizou-se para o cruzamento dos descritores os operadores booleanos “OR” e “AND”. Resultados: após análise criteriosa, 7 artigos atenderam aos critérios de inclusão. Estratégias como a capacitação para cuidados físicos e manejo de sintomas, estímulo ao desenvolvimento de habilidades de auto eficácia, coping e autocuidado por meio do fornecimento de informações e intervenções psicoeducacionais, atividades físicas, uso de práticas integrativas complementares e também o estreitamento dos laços familiares, foram citadas como promotoras da diminuição da sobrecarga e sentimento de incapacidade. Conclusão: os estudos enfatizaram diversas estratégias de apoio como promotoras da diminuição da sobrecarga e sentimento de incapacidade. São necessários mais estudos para validar alguns dos resultados que não obtiveram comprovação de impacto significativo na qualidade de vida dos cuidadores.
