Medidas para adesão à higiene das mãos por profissionais de saúde em centros terciários: revisão integrativa

Objetivo: identificar e sumarizar evidências científicas sobre medidas para adesão à HM por profissionais da saúde em centros terciários. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa construída em seis etapas, realizada nas bases de dados Medline, LILACS, BDENF, SciElo e SCOPUS. Os descritores foram “Health Personnel” e “Hand Hygiene”, visando uma busca ampliada, separados pelo operador booleano AND. Foram incluídas publicações de outubro de 2017 a outubro de 2022. Para a extração foi construído um quadro sinóptico. Resultados: a busca resultou em 1276 artigos e a amostra final em 16 produções científicas, dos quais, 13 eram estudo do tipo quase-experimental e três se tratava de ensaio clínico randomizado. Identificou-se resultado positivo na taxa de adesão de higiene das mãos em 14 pesquisas. Conclusão: a implantação de medidas resulta em resposta imediata no aumento da adesão da higiene das mãos em centros terciários e as estratégias identificadas nesta revisão podem servir de exemplo para as instituições.
