Clinicai characteristics are described under three forms: diffuse subacute meningoencephalitis, hypertensive forms and tumoral forms. Clinical diagnosis, laboratory findings and differential diagnosis are considered; the most important of ali is the analysis of the cerebrospinal fluid, and the decrease of chlorides would have a more significant value.
Finally, the treatment is considered under the medicai and surgical viewpoints.
