The surgical treatment of epilepsy is mostly based in localization and resection of epileptogenic focus avoiding eloquent areas of brain. Our experience shows that there are no standard approaches to epilepsy. Each individual case must be studied and then chosen the best surgical procedure. The interventions focus not only a decrease in number of seizures but also the
improvement of neurological status, professional and scholar rehabilitation and social integration.
