Abstract

Infections are still a major issue in medical practice. Despite the technology development, the human population still suffers from infections and frequently on a major risk clinical situation. The immune system plays a major role on the control and elimination of infections. We will present next considerations about the development of the immune system in humans and the occurrence of clinical infections.
