The Brazilian medical education is characterized by lack of students interest about health management knowledge in general. It results in countless health problems seen nationally at clinics and hospitals due to bad management of public and private resources. These problems are partially caused by the lack of technical knowledge by those who take the administrative power on health area, frequently chosen by criteria of assistance abilities and/or medical technical knowledge, instead of truth management capacities. In this context, Medicina Jr. was born as an student initiative in order to approach the alumni of the Medical School of University of São Paulo to the management universe, presenting them the area and trying to increase their concern of this so poorly taught matter. Then arose the idea of joining the positive impacts brought by extra academic activities to management education at the university environment, expecting to contribute to the formation of new professionals more receptive to this theme and with better knowledge in this area.Downloads
