Benzodiazepines (BZDs) are generally used without anxiety treatment, insomnia, alcohol withdrawal, delirium and seizures due to their anxiolytic, hypnotic, anticonvulsant and muscle relaxant activity. These drugs have not been consumed for almost two weeks, but have been recently found to be sick with up to 10 years use. In order to know the possibilities of presentation of the BZDs, a review based on the NCBI /PubMed (National Center for Biotechnology Information) and SciELO (Scientific Electronic Lirary Online) databases was carried out. The results of the analysis are the most heterogeneous regarding the BZDs splice notification and the best description to allow replication in clinical practice and research.
