Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the clinical outcomes of Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty (LHP) in the treatment of grade 2 and 3 hemorrhoids, comparing its efficacy and safety with traditional methods. The analysis included a review of published clinical studies, focusing on indicators such as postoperative pain, complication rates, recurrence, and patient satisfaction. The technique demonstrated a significant reduction in postoperative pain and shorter recovery times compared to traditional hemorrhoidectomy, with low complication rates, including infection and bleeding. Results indicated high satisfaction rates due to tissue preservation and the procedure's feasibility in outpatient settings. While consistent symptom improvement was observed, the long-term efficacy of LHP requires further investigation due to the lack of randomized studies with extended follow-up. The findings align with previous research, confirming the feasibility of LHP as a safe and effective technique for grade 2 and 3 hemorrhoids. However, the need for standardization of technical parameters was identified as a crucial factor to ensure consistent clinical outcomes.
