Objective: To describe the impacts on quality of life caused by endometriosis among diagnosed patients. Data source: Systematized review, carried out from November 2023 to February 2024 in PUBMED and LILACS, with the descriptors (MESH) “quality of life” AND “endometriosis” AND “impacts”. Study selection: Systematic reviews that were aligned with the research objective, available free of charge in full and published in the last five years were included. Data analysis collection: Five studies were selected after each stage of reading the titles, abstracts and full analysis. Data collection was carried out independently by two reviewers. Data synthesis: Studies have shown that endometriosis has a profound impact on patients' quality of life, negatively affecting both physical and psychological aspects. Symptoms include chronic pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea and dyspareunia, which impair sexual health and daily activities. Sleep disturbances and fatigue are also common. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy has shown benefits in reducing pain and improving quality of life. Conclusion: Women with endometriosis have lower quality of life scores compared to the population average, facing negative impacts in several areas.
