Beonquiectasias por corpo extranho: cura pela lobectomia: (considerações sobre um caso)

Abstract

The aa. present a case on bronchiectasis consequently to the staying of a strange vegetal body in the entrance of the inferior and median bronchi of the right lung, 7 years ago. Considerations are made about the physiopathology of the process and attention is drawn to the seriousness of the reaction to the strange body of vegetal origin. The assymptomatic period following the inicial phase is important. The diagnosis must be based on the story, physic examen and on the radiological and endoscopical studies.
Prognosis is serious if the strange body is not removed. For a thorough healing of bronchiectasis and abcesses of the lungs the pulmonar ressection is the best indication.
