Journal of medicine: a way publication of 90 years

Abstract

The aim of this analysis is to quantitatively evaluate the progress of the “Revistade Medicina” and report its journey pathway during 90 years of existence. The journal’s analysis was carried through: contents, summaries, keywords, ISSN, legends, editorial, analysis of specific or general subjects and the number of authors and articles. During the 90 years publication, the journal figures in the roll of scientific journals that contribute to divulge and spread information about medical bibliography in Brazil. For its valuable information, it occupies a place of prominence in the history of the national medical bibliography, therefore great names of the medicine, that had studied in the “Faculdade de Medicina da USP” participated on the publication taking part of the publication taking part of the editorial body or contributing with articles. The journal mission is spread the scientific knowledge, produced by professor of Medicine Colleges and similar areas in Brazil, who intend to publish scientific researches results.
