There are many evidences that the treatment of pain in pediatrics has humanitary significance and prevents many
physical and medical complications. The adequate evaluation and the treatment of causes are steps necessary for pain control.
Inflammatory analgesic, opioids and adjuvants agents are very effective in pediatrics patients. Physical medicine and
psychocomportamental procedures are very effetive during the rehabilitation period and are tools that help patients to face acute and chronic pain. Neuroanesthetic and neurosurgical procedures may be useful in special conditions.
