Craniofacial pain resulting from cervical abnormalities is a very common condition. The authors present a review of the so-called cervicogenic headache and emphasize the importance of the cervical miofascial pain disturbances in the aetiology of this disease. The importance of the pharmacological and physical medicine approaches is also reinforced.
