Dystopian Geopolitics: 1984’s do mination system

This work intends to shed light upon some aspects of Orwell’s 1984 mostly linked to geopolitics and history, drawing upon parallelisms with people, countries and processes that were taking place after World War II. Also, it takes a look at the domination system present in the book’s lore and that world’s superpowers: Oceania, Eastasia and Eurasia. For that purpose, Chapter IX, Part II of 1984 is the object of this study.
