The cinephilic essay, considered here as a formidable exercise of freedom, combines the most heterogeneous gestures: interviews with local folks, juxtaposition of footage from fordian works, images of the present, roaming through stunning landscapes, reenactment of entire sequences of the original film, testimonies on the experience of filming, stories of survival in hostile terrain, construction of small fictional situations, and drunken militant songs in a bar table.
