This paper discusses the paths taken by Greek vases in two connected contexts: the first is its ancient distribution in many Mediterranean places, in a traditional exchange scenario often called “international trade”; the second is the situation developed since many findspots and collecting related from the 18th century, moreover its reference to national identities, as well as the disputes to obtaining in the international affairs sphere.
