A formação continuada do professor: a relação institucional entre Secretaria de Educação e universidade

A professor continued education has been an object of studies and proposals, mainly during the last decades, due to the necessity of consolidating and initial teacher training. It is based, on one side, in a very closed activity to the teacher professional work in the area of education - a continued update process -, and on the other side, in order to attend the problems produced by the low quality of teaching in the different levels. The text examines the basic orientations that had done support to continuous education politics for teachers with emphasis in the Coordenadores Pedagógicos das Secretarias de Educação do Estado de Pernambuco - Pedagogical Co-ordinators of Pernambuco State Secretaria of Education - 1987/1991 - and of São Paulo City - 1995/1996, in a shared process with Universities.Downloads
