Abstract

There were examined 102 seruns obtained from butchers and 102 seruns from metallurgists that were used in the control group. Among the butchers, 97,1% were positive by the indirect antibody technique (anti IGg), and in the control group 706, % were reagents by the same teste. These percentages tested statiscally by the two proportions test with normal aproximation showed a significant difference. The levels of anti-toxoplasma antibody observed among the butchers were higher than the observed among metallurgist.
