Abstract

In this review, we discuss adverse effects of chemotherapeutic agents employed to treat leprosy, the evolution of treated leprotic lesions, mono- and multi- chemotherapeutic regimens, immunologic reactions caused try treatment and, finally, future prospectives of utilization of new drugs and vaccines against leprosy.
