Abdominal ectopic pregnancy is a rare event, with an incidence ranging from 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 30,000 live births, usually associated with high maternal and fetal mortality. Cases progressing to term are rare. This report describes the case of a 40-year-old patient with a history of tubal ligation performed 14 years earlier, who was asymptomatic and referred to a high-risk maternity unit after an ultrasound diagnosis of advanced abdominal ectopic pregnancy with a viable fetus at 32 weeks. An exploratory laparotomy was performed, resulting in the birth of a live male infant with Apgar scores of 8 and 8 at the 1st and 5th minutes, respectively, weighing 2,010 grams, presenting structural anomalies and limb deformities. The placenta was implanted in the right broad ligament and partially in the bladder, being removed without complications. Both mother and newborn evolved favorably, with maternal discharge six days after the procedure.
