The objective of this study was to analyze the measurement properties of validity and reliability of Brazilian version of the World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule (WHODAS 2.0) for workers with work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMD). The internal consistency, test-retest reliability and validation of the convergent and divergent criterion were studied. The workers answered the WHODAS 2.0 in two moments with the interval of seven days. The WHOQOL-Bref was answered only once. The sample consisted of 100 workers with WRMD, mostly women (77%), with no stable union (51%) and with an average age of 50 ± 7.79 years. As for the occupational aspect, 48% were unemployed or removed from work. Test-retest reliability was considered good for all domains: Cognition (ICC = 0.87; CI = 0.80-0.91), Mobility (ICC = 0.86; CI = 0.79-0.91), Self-care (ICC = 0.87; CI = 0.80-0.91, Interpersonal relationships (ICC = .0.78; CI = 0.67-0.85), Domestic activities (ICC = 0.83; CI = 0.75-0.89), School or work activities (ICC = 0.81; CI = 0.72-0.87) and Participation (ICC = 0.86; CI = 0.79-0.90). The WHODAS 2.0 domains showed significant Spearman's correlation with all the WHOQOL- Bref domains (p<0,05), with the exception of the School or work activities domain, which only correlated with the Physical Domain of WHOQOL- Bref. We found 17 significant moderate correlation (-0.41≤ r ≥ -0.69), 19 significant weak correlation (-0.23≤ r ≥-0.39) and one significant strong correlation (p=-0,70). The Brazilian version of the WHODAS 2.0 instrument showed reliability and validity for this population.
