Ways of interpellation of the spectator in contemporary street theater: an ethnographic approach of FiraTàrrega 2016

This article explores the ways of interpellation of the spectator in contemporary street theater through the analysis of spectacles presented at FiraTàrrega 2016. The article chooses an ethnographic approach from which were selected, in order to present a reflection, plays watched by the author and that demand direct involvement and non-contemplative engagement of the public for their realization, with spectator interpellation grouped into four categories: drift through the city and its suburbs, leading of the viewer to unusual spaces, installation-play, and escapes from theatricality, either seeking a scenic simplicity based almost exclusively on the presence of the actor, or, on the contrary, exacerbating the technological apparatus and the scenic machinery, constructing strategies of wonder. In all of them, there is an evocation for the spectator to take a position as subject before what is presented.
