O impacto da atividade laboral nas doenças cardiovasculares: uma revisão bibliográfica

Resumo

Introdução: A saúde cardiovascular é um tema muito relevante no presente que gera um custo de bilhões de dólares por ano. O trabalho tem uma função importante na incidência de doenças cardiovasculares (DCV) todos os anos. Embora existam diversos estudos versando sobre o trabalho como uma das causas de DCV, existem poucos estudos que compilam os fatores de risco relacionados ao trabalho em uma mesma pesquisa. Objetivo: Apresentar e discutir fatores relacionados ao trabalho que podem causar ou agravar doenças cardiovasculares, constituindo-se em fatores de risco. Método: Foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica do PUBMED com 65 estudos publicados do ano 2020 até 2025. Resultados: Foram encontrados diversos fatores relacionados ao trabalho que podem causar ou agravar doenças cardiovasculares. Os estudos trouxeram também algumas explicações fisiopatológicas do processo de adoecimento gerado pelos fatores de risco. Estresse, trabalho em turnos, trabalho noturno, hábitos relacionados ao trabalho (alimentação, tabagismo), trabalhos que envolvem muita pressão entre outros foram fatores de risco encontrados na pesquisa. Conclusão: O trabalho tem uma importância muito grande do ponto de vista socioeconômico para uma pessoa, mas é um importante fator de adoecimento do ponto de vista cardiovascular. Medidas como a implementação de programas de bem-estar no trabalho, a flexibilização de jornadas e o incentivo a estilos de vida saudáveis são essenciais para a redução do impacto das DCV entre trabalhadores.
