Abstract

A postmodern look consides the study ofintertertuality provides a context for contemporary productions as they reisncribe and transform the representations of the cultural past. Just under this postmodern look, the surrealistc artists, for e.xemple, ever make connections with ancient alchemist 's figurations. Especially, Max Ernst's gluing Une Semaine de Bonté, ou Les Septs Éléments Capitau.x makes use of a network of iconografic references and representations wich might be defined as the intertextuallink between the surrealistc techniques and the hermetic alchemist te.xts, trough some biblical cabalistc texts.
