Abstract

Today the postmodern cinema is generally well accepted or tolerated, new films has been produced in accordance with its proposal. But, as every new artistic style, for along period the postmodern cinema has faced attacks from the critics. Its differences and proximities regarding to the classical and to the various modernist tendencies in the cinema caused this rejection. It must be defined the specificity of postmodern film to be recognized the meaning of this cinematographic line within a historical perspective.
