O estatuto do pensamento teleológico nas ciências biológicas contemporâneas é foco de controvérsia. O programa reducionista busca sua eliminação, persistindo, no entanto, perspectivas instrumentalistas e realistas que buscam justificar sua permanência. Este artigo procura defender as razões para a permanência do pensamento teleológico, sobretudo aquelas de fundo realista.Downloads
