Author Biographies

  • Marcelo Tramontano, Universidade de São Paulo. Instituto de Arquitetura de Urbanismo

    He is an Architect, Master, Doctor, and Livre-docente in Architecture and Urbanism. He is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He directs Nomads.usp and is the Editor-in-Chief of V!RUS journal.

  • Juliana Couto Trujillo, Universidade de São Paulo. Instituto de Arquitetura de Urbanismo

    She is an Architect and Master in Language Studies. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, coordinator of the research group algo+ritmo, and is a researcher at Nomads.usp. She studies digital design processes, cities and digital culture, and cultural policies and digital media.

  • Juliano Veraldo da Costa Pita, Universidade de São Paulo. Instituto de Arquitetura e Urbanismo

    He is an Architect and Master in Architecture and Urbanism. He is a professor at the Federal Institute of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and  a  researcher at  Nomads.usp.  He studies digital architectural design processes in the context of public orders, and the inclusion of digital technologies, especially BIM, in participatory decision-making processes.

  • Sandra Schmitt Soster, Universidade de São Paulo. Instituto de Arquitetura de Urbanismo

    She is a Bachelor in Advertising, Architect, and Master of Architecture and Urbanism. She is a researcher at Nomads.usp, a member of the Paulista Heritage Education Network, and a collaborator of the iPatrimônio project. She studies the use of digital media in the management and preservation of cultural heritage.

    He is an Architect and researcher at Nomads.usp. He studies the use of the documentary film for the accomplishment of urban readings, based on participatory and collaborative processes of audiovisual production.

  • Christian Jhulian Braga Quesada, Universidade de São Paulo. Instituto de Arquitetura de Urbanismo

    He is an Architect and researcher at Nomads.usp. He studies design processes biased by artificial intelligence, investigating aspects of collaboration between humans and machines.
