Bovine plasma treated with cellulose sulfate produces multiple forms of plasminogen activators. The most fibrinolytic active fraction was isolated by preparative electrophoresis. Amidolytic and radial immunodiffusion tests with specific antibodies revealed that the most active plasminogen activator possesses properties similar to those of urokinase.Downloads
