Abstract

This research was carried out to detect salmonela in feedstuffs (136 samples), feeds (43) and dust swabs (110) from a feed mill. Salmonela was not detected in dust swabs samples. For feedstuffs, 19.85% were positive, with highest values observed from animal by-products (50%), dairy by-products (7.5%), 12.5% for other feedstuffs and 4.65% for complete feeds.
