Bovine serums were evaluated by the plate agglutination, tube agglutination, buffered plate antigen and 2-Mercaptoethanol tests for bovine brucellosis diagnosis. All presented a good concordance when considering the official Ministry of Agriculture interpretation. High concordance was verified for the buffered plate antigen and 2-Mercapthoetanol tests. This study suggests the use of the buffered plate antigen test as a screening test for bovine brucellosis diagnosis.Downloads
