Abstract

Considering the concept of intermediality, which has been currently adopted in reference to the old phenomenon of relating texts conceived in different semiotic systems. The present article intends to analyze the interrelation between verbal representations and the media, focusing on the subcategories of intermidiality enrolled by Irina Rajewsky – media combination, medial transposition and intermedial reference – and then questioning such division.
