Estudo do reflexo H do músculo semitendinoso em pessoas normais
Keywords:
Electromyography, H-Reflex, MusclesAbstract
The advances of clinical electromyography in early fifties allowed the currenty use of the myotatic reflex to study the proximal segments of the nerves and the nervous roots. We tried to find if the ischiotibialis muscles have the H reflex constantly and easily evoked and what's its meaning. That was choosen 6 patients without abnormalities at neurological examination and tested the H reflex at the semitendinous muscle stimulating the sciatic nerve near the proximal motor point. Ali the patients had H reflex with constancy in the latency showing that may be we can use this test to study L5 root lesions in the future.
