Avaliação isocinética. Análise do desempenho muscular de flexores e extensores de joelho em jovens desportistas praticantes de voleibol
Keywords:
Knee, VolleyballAbstract
The purpose of this study was to describe data on junior volleyball players regarding isokinetically measures of muscle groups responsable for knee extension and flexiono Forty-five junior volleyball players- twenty-three (12 males and 11 females) classified as aptives (A) and twenty-two classifieds as amateurs (10 males and 12 females) underwent bilateral knee ex tension/ flexion testing on a Cybex 6000 series dynamometer system. Speed of 60 degrees per second were used for two groups, (A) and (B). The parameters of Peak torque (PT) and Total work (TI) were analyzed. Results showed significant difference between dominant (O) and non-dominant (ON) muscles in male group (A) in knee flexion - (O) > (ON) in ali parameters also corrected for body weight. Data analysed showed signficant difference between female (B) group and female (A) group, in knee (ON) flexion in the parameter of (TI) - (B) >(A). Male (A) group performance in knee extension was significant better than (B) group in (TI) corrected for body weight. This study showed a best and significant performance of mal e (A) and (B) group in the parameter of PT and TI than respectively female (A) and (B) group, even when corrected for body weight.
