The long term administration of steroids is assumed to be the cause of myopathic disease, which is potentially reversible as soon as the patient stops medication. The goal of this study is to alert doctors about the side effects of the corticotherapy, taking into account that muscular disease is reversible. However it may resemble to worsen the pathology for what the steroid is being used for. In this paper we discuss 2 cases of patients who went on steroids for a long period of time. They came to our clinic for Electromyography. Their complaint were muscular weakness and the results of the Electromyography were compatible with myopathy.
