Total nitrogen in green coffee samples of different kinds of beverage

The nitrogen content of 28 samples of green coffe (Coffea arabica L.c. v. Mundo Novo) of four types of beverage, i. e. Soft, Hard, Rioy and Rio, was determined. The figures varied from 2.53% (mean value) for samples of Hard and Rio, 2.55% for Solft and 2.59% for Rioy beverages, dry weight. It were not found statiscally significant diferences between samples of diferent kinds of beverage and so it was not possible to stablish a correlation between the content of this component and the type of beverage.Downloads
