EM TORNO DO MÉTODO DAS SOMAS PARA DETERMINAÇÃO DOS MOMENTOS

Abstract

The main object of the author was to make the determination of moments by repeated summation better known. He believes that the theo retical part of the subject was taken up at its broader aspects. After demonstrating a fundamental theorem he establishes the values of the first four moments in function of particular sums. An artifact of practical use is expounded. Examples clarify the theory given.
