Abstract

Further stuclies on the Ceratopogonid fauna of Middle Brazil are made with the following results: - Macropeza, represented by a new species (neotropicalis) is, for the first time, registered in the Neotropical region. The genera Echinohelea and Dicrobezzia were also, for the first time, found in Middle Brazil. Nine news species and the halotyne of Ceratobezzia falax are described.
